Decomposers...

 A lot of people freak out when they see mushrooms in their yards or gardens, thinking it a sign that something's wrong. The reality is that mushrooms are one of the best things you can see in your garden!

 

Their mere presence is indicative of a vibrant and healthy ecosystem, so the more the merrier!

 

It's kind of like seeing a shooting star, something that doesn't happen every day, a wink from another dimension. Take heed, respect the decomposers for the important role they play in this giant web of interconnections. 

 

Here's a line from one of my poems in closing:

 

It's the "fungus in sweet Mother's earth, that weaves our deaths into our births"
